About This Charity

Keeping Abreast was established in September 2007 by patients Anna Beckingham and Beverley Birritteri and Breast Reconstruction nurse specialist Ruth Harcourt.

The charity supports women either with breast cancer or the hereditary BRCA gene, who are considering or undergoing immediate of delayed breast reconstruction.

They offer information, support and practical help, as well as the opportunity to meet others facing a similar diagnosis at one of their many support groups. They also offer the chance to see the results of reconstructive surgery.

For further information follow them on social media and visit their website www.keepingabreast.org.uk
